As one of the largest Internet, book and media retail companies, Weltbild continues to consolidate its position abroad.
In the autumn of 2000, the group joined forces with the Hamburg-based Bauer Verlag and launched the media mail-order retailer Klub dla Ciebie in the growth market Poland.
The group has been active in the media and mail-order sectors in Austria and Switzerland since the 1980s, making it the market leader in the German-speaking region.
