Weiland
The name Weiland is synonymous with both tradition and innovation. The bookstore chain celebrated its 150th anniversary in 1995. The headquarters of the company are in Lübeck. It is well known for its numerous book-related cultural events, its extensive and well-maintained range of books which is tailored exactly to the needs of customers in the area and its outstanding level of customer service.
In 2007, the company took over the C. Delff bookstore in Husum. In 2008, Weiland acquired Heron-Buchhandelsgesellschaft with seven bookstores in the Cottbus area and the Fritz Reuter bookstore in Neubrandenburg. Weiland has 38 branches in Northern Germany in a number of locations including Lübeck, Kiel, Hamburg, Rostock, Schwerin, Wismar, Stralsund, Greifswald and Neubrandenburg.
